This is one of the three characteristic Yigdal melodies for the Shalosh Regalim, which go back to Dukes Place in the late 1700s, if not earlier. The Shavuot melody is certainly less well known, and is slow and solemn, contrasting with the more joyful melodies for Pesach and Sukkot.
